FYI -check back later because I'm still working on a post about the expansion of the kingdom preaching work and how it's spread around the world (I'm gonna back-date it, since the theme is related to yesterday's text)

"Faith follows the thing heard." (Romans 10:17)
To attain and maintain strong faith, a Christian must keep meditating on the precious truths found in God’s Word. “The faithful and discreet slave” has provided many fine publications that are designed to help us get to know Christ better and thus be in a position to imitate him. (Matthew 24:45-47) Prayer is another aid in building strong faith. Jesus’ followers once pleaded with him: “Give us more faith.” We can humbly beg God to do the same. (Luke 17:5) To that end, we should pray for the help of God’s holy spirit; faith is one aspect of “the fruitage of the spirit.” (Galatians 5:22) Further, obeying God’s commands strengthens our faith. For instance, having an increased share in the preaching work will likely produce in us a deep happiness. And as we reflect on the blessings that come from “seeking first the kingdom and [God’s] righteousness,” our faith will grow.—Matthew 6:33.

*This is another area that shows how "the faithful and discreet slave" as a group have really lived up to their responsibility and obligation mentioned in the account at Matthew 24:45-47
“Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so. Truly I say to YOU, He will appoint him over all his belongings."
If you look back at our history you'll see that there has been a steady, uninterrupted flow of spiritual food since the end of the 19th century. When you consider all the bans, persecution, and opposition that the brothers and sisters had to endure all throughout that same time period, (unlike most other religions), it's nothing short of amazing. Just the fact that they made sure that spiritual food was even getting to the brothers in concentration camps and prisons during wartime, shows how seriously they take their responsibility. Which is also another reason why we should never neglect our responsibility to keep up with that spiritual feeding program that Jehovah has provided for us.
