"The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous ones, and his ears are toward their cry for help." (Psalm 34:15)
Always keep in focus the marvelous fact that Jehovah will soon relieve mankind of all distresses. (Psalm 34:19; 37:9-11; 2 Peter 2:9) Ultimately, our deliverance by God means not only the deliverance from present distresses but also the opportunity to have everlasting life. Until that time, we continue to deal with the distressing conditions of this wicked world. How we long for the time when these will no longer exist! (Psalm 55:6-8) Let us remember that our faithful endurance proves the Devil a liar. May we gain strength from our prayers and our Christian brotherhood, keeping in mind that our brothers are experiencing trials similar to ours. Continue to be fully competent and completely equipped by making good use of God’s Word. Never allow your trust in the loving care provided by “the God of all comfort” to waver.—2 Corinthians 1:3.

*The real tragedy would be letting ourselves become so caught up in the temporary problems we might be experiencing in our lives now, that we fail to 'keep our eyes on the prize' (2 Corinthians 4:18) and end up missing out on the 'real life' spoken of at (1 Timothy 6:19) which reminds Christians that they need to be...
"safely treasuring up for themselves a fine foundation for the future, in order that they may get a firm hold on the real life."
